Blackberry watch coming to Canada?
Canadians old enough to remember Swatch watches that were popular in the 1980s have probably moved on from the brightly colored plastic bands and rather eye catching designs from the past. Today, some people prefer to use their cell phones to check the time, even though there is something strangely comforting about a nice watch encircling your wrist.
It's not time to rule out watches for good, if Blackberry is to have its way. Media sources revealed that news of a Blackberry watch was leaked today and this timepiece is certainly an accessory of the future.
According to CNET News, images of the Blackberry watches were released by the site, Crackberry.com. The device won't function as a mere timepiece, of course. This smarter-than-the-average watch will display the titles of incoming messages as they arrive. It will also utilize Bluetooth technology, the news provider reveals.
It is further reported that this watch will be called the "Impulse Smartwatch" and is intended to be for people with extremely packed schedules and not enough time to check their messages. Users can simply glance at their wrists while in meetings, driving, the movies or wherever pulling out a Blackberry may be deemed too rude.
