Canadian women can get makeup on their iPhone - without damage

Makeup trends change from season to season and some Canadian women like to follow such developments. To help make their lives a little easier, Lancome recently released a handy tool for the modern woman on the go.

If you're a lady with an iPhone - or a super-fashionable guy – Lancome have the iPhone app that is perfect for you. Here, the makeup-wearing masses can get feedback from others who use the same products and test before the buy, MediaPost News reveals. Users are able to sample the latest collection via the app, presumably onto a palette or even their own faces.

In addition, anyone who has virtually sampled the makeup can then go back to “The Makeup Blog,” part of Lancome's site, and leave their impressions, the news provider reveals.

Fashionistas should expect more makeup to be synched with iPhone apps in the future, at least according to Julie Thompson, Lancome's interactive marketing director. “The idea is to leverage this first use of the iPhone platform for further evolutions,” she told the news source.
