Canadians celebrate health and beauty
If any Canadian needed a good excuse to attend to their bath and body routines this winter, P&G has just supplied one. The first Canadian P&G Beauty Awards took place on November 1 at The Carlu in Toronto.
While the awards did not highlight the best products this year so far, they did honor the hardworking individuals who guide the clueless towards the best bath and body purchases for them. Writers such as Joanie Pietracupa from Clin d'oeil were recognized - she received the award for Best Beauty Feature of a Magazine or Newspaper in French - for their dedication to helping us all make better bath and body choices.
"This awards ceremony was a beauty and fashion first in Canada," explained Danielle Bibas, P&G beauty and grooming general manager. "[We] thought it was important to celebrate and support the thriving Canadian fashion and beauty industry," she concluded.
There were a few famous faces dotted about the awards ceremony too. For example, Meaghan Waller of Canada's Next Top Model was spotted in the crowd, showing her support for all things bath and body.
The P&G awards should serve as a wakeup call to update your bath and body products this winter - and consider looking at some of the winning journalists' work for tips.
