Designers take watches to new levels for Canadians

With only four shopping days left until Christmas, it's starting to be crunch time for some Canadian shoppers. The National Post recently looked at the work of Natalia Brilli - an accessories designer who puts a unique twist on familiar items. Her idea for the humble watch turns this useful timepiece into a rebellious accessory, perfect for the fashionista or angsty teen in your life. The news provider explains that she tightly wraps her fake Rolex watches in leather - which means that Brilli's selection of watches aren't used to tell time and instead become funky bracelets.

For more straightforward, sporty types, consider one of the WooLoot watches. Despite its funny name, these watches appear in a variety of colors and were recently featured on the blog, GoshTV.net.
