Good running shoes essential for fit Canadians

Many Canadians know the importance of staying healthy, and therefore are willing to invest in shoes and outerwear to be protected against the elements. Even if you go to the gym, it is still important to make sure that your feet are properly protected, and that you're wearing the right kind of shoe for physical activity.

Fitness enthusiasts should definitely look for sturdy, supportive shoes Dr. Sam Dube, an Ottawa-based professor, explains that "long-term shoe-wearing restricts feet and causes 'tired foot syndrome,' which leads to foot and lower-limb related ailments." This can also happen quickly if an individual is wearing the wrong kind of shoes to the gym.

To solve this problem, Reebok came up with their own solution. The company recently introduced their EasyTone running shoes that are said to assist in toning but also help provide extra support for your feet, the Vancouver Sun reveals.

If nothing else, the shoes aim to promote stability, hopefully decreasing injuries on the treadmill or elliptical machine, as many runners move inside to work out away from bad weather. ADNFCR-2437-ID-19407545-ADNFCR
