Twilight starts shooting again, prepare for dramatic fall makeup
Teens everywhere should be pleased to hear that filming has reportedly started for the next cinematic installment of the
Twilight saga, based upon the book series by Stephanie Meyer.
Canadian ladies in particular might rejoice at the thought of Robert Pattinson traipsing around the Vancouver woods as the local paper reports that shooting began on August 17.
Using acronyms like "TSE" for Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the Vancouver Sun speculates the team of actors, camera operators, caterers and wardrobe professionals will be working in the area in the near future.
The dark, brooding colors used in the first film will presumably set the color palette for later movies in the series, as a few sneak previews suggest. For some, this may also inspire new makeup trends for fall, resuscitating dark red lips and pale powder to invoke a vampire-like pallor.
This trend's already creeping into the UK as stars such as
Lily Allen have been sporting dark hair and dramatic
red lipstick, the Daily Mail reveals.
Since Twilight is filming in Canada, it will be interesting to see how makeup artists like the Quebec-based Manon Rioux are inspired by this trendy vampire aesthetic.
